After 2-acetylaminofluorene treatment (100 mg/kg body weight) during pregnancy, the following metabolites were identified: N-acetyl-2-aminofluorene, N-acetyl-4-amino-2-nitrofluorene, N-acetyl-2-aminofluorene-N-glucoside, N-acetyl-2-aminofluorene-4-sulphate, and the sum of acetyl-N-glucosides, acetyl-N-sulphates and N-acetyl-4-aminofluorene. Urinary metabolites of 2-acetylaminofluorene were identified and quantitated in pregnant and non-pregnant control and 2-acetylaminofluorene-treated mice.
